All funding for the first hut project must be in place in order to receive the final permit from the U.S. Forest Service. Once this permit is issued, building of the hut can begin. Help us reach our goal by donating today! Grand Huts Association is a Colorado 501c(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax deductible. All donors will receive a donation receipt for tax records. Most backcountry huts have been built as memorial to special people who loved our mountains. If your family

USE VAGABOND HUTS AND 10% OF BOOKING FEES AND MEMBER FEES WILL GO TO GHA:
Vagabond Ranch will be donating 10% of their bookings and member rental fees to Grand Huts, so be sure to mention GHA when booking one of their huts. The Vagabond Ranch offers a 4 mile trek to three different huts and is surrounded by the Arapahoe National Forest near Grand Lake.

DONATE YOUR RESOURCES - 3,500 VOLUNTEER HOURS NEEDED:
We are always looking for volunteers and materials. For specific needs, please visit our WISH LIST. If you can pledge some volunteer hours to help build a hut, please USE OUR VOLUNTEER INTEREST FORM. For every 8 volunteer hours served, you can receive a certificate good for one free night in the Broome Hut.
